If you need a humanities credit, sign up for ART 369, Leonardo and His Followers. The prof is a native Italian, very chill, and the class meets once a week. And she's pretty damn knowledgeable about everything.

As far as my last class with her went, we had one paper (a simple assignment though), and just a mid-term and final exam.

And yea this is shameless advertising for her, but only because the class is hardly full yet, so there are plenty of spots.

Due to the most recent entry, I made a CUA community just for the hell of it.
Could end up being a useful resource at some point.

Accepted into CUA: A few weeks ago (accepted conditionally on final transcripts)
Major: Architecture

Does anyone know if it's better to get a Bachelor of Architeture as opposed to a Bachelor of Science in Architecture (like Catholic gives you)?

k so i've narrowed my college choice down to either cua or loyola in maryland. i visited cua over the summer but now it's hard for me to remember it well because i saw so many schools (haven't yet seen loyola though). a friend of mine who's a year older did an overnight at cua last year and hated it but i was wondering if what she said is true considering she doesn't go there..

she said that all the guys were either gay or going to be priests. all my guy friends at home are gay and i love them but i havent had such luck with straight guys so i was hoping for a new experience.
also she said that they were extremely religious and prayed at the begining of each class, is that true? because i am catholic but not extremely religious so if people were very strict about their religion i might feel out of place. do people typically go to mass on sunday?
i remember thinking the campus was beautiful but inside a lot of buildings were outdated/old. i didn't get to see any classrooms because they were all locked for the summer so i have no idea how accurate this is.
also, how easy is it to meet students from other schools like georgetown, etc. i know there's a few bars nearby but is that mainly catholic students, or people from all over d.c.

thanks a lot, sorry if these posts are annoying.

So I'm not the class of 09 but I'm about 99% sure I'll be joing the class of 2010! I'm so excited. Anyways, I was thinking about what dorm to put as my first/ second choice. I'm puting either Conaty or Spellman first but I was wondering what the difference between the two were. I know those are the bigger party dorms but is one a bigger party than the other? Or is one louder, cleaner ..ect? Also, I know at Spellman there's triples and quads but do you request those or do they just give them out random. Cause I was thinking it might be cool to have one but then again I'm not so sure so if you've lived in one or have any info on either dorms help me out! Thanks!

-edit- I heard that there was a quiznos on campus and dorms has AC, is this true?
